PROJECT ALLANFORD

PROJECT ALLANFORD is a split-level family home that our clients, a family of 3 generations, lived in for several years. There came a time when our clients decided their space was no longer working for them, so they built a large addition off the back that would give them the much-needed space. While they were at it, they also renovated the rest of their home with new floors, paint, and stairs… not to mention the newly vaulted ceiling on the main floor which made the whole space FEEL so grand!

The desired design aesthetic in this house was neutral, clean, and lots of white with light wood tones. As soon as you enter the house on the ground floor, you are greeted with a POP of colour, a wood bench, a mirror & space to store some essentials! At the back of the ground floor is a new bathroom with a floating wood vanity, and a shelf that runs all along the back wall – how useful is that?!  In the brand-new kitchen (which is 3 times larger than the old one), we’ve incorporated all-white shaker cabinets and open wood shelving for a little design moment.

The quartz countertops are SUPER easy to maintain, and keep the space looking light and airy! On the second floor, we renovated the kids’ bath and added a brand-new primary ensuite. Payed attention to all of the wall tiles in the bathrooms… we’ve gone with different cost-effective white subway tiles in each bathroom, and installed them in fun patterns throughout!
