PROJECT LEE

PROJECT LEE is a four-story home that our clients lived in for several years. With growing kids, they decided it was time to pull the trigger and go through a renovation that would completely change the way they could use their home.

On the ground floor, we made some layout changes to accommodate a new gas fireplace and custom built-ins, a large eat-in dining room table, and a brand new kitchen that has double the storage of their old kitchen. We love the transitional elements in this kitchen, such as the crown molding and shaker-style cabinetry.

We also love the brass accents and POP of colour in the blue island! Throughout the house, we updated the floors to a medium warm wood tone and refinished the stairs to be a dark grey colour, with a beautiful runner.

On the second floor, we reworked the hall bath to be a perfect bathroom for two young girls. The patterned floor tile and hints of gold and pink are the little feminine touches our clients were looking for… and we can’t forget about the makeup table… but that is for when they’re older!

Our clients also have a son who now gets his own bathroom which is perfect for a growing little man! We love the black plumbing and light fixtures for a touch of modern accents.

One of the biggest transformations in this house was the primary ensuite. The primary bedroom is the entire third floor, and the old ensuite was a small 3-piece bath that was not proportionate to the size of the room. By taking away space from the bedroom, we managed to get our clients the ensuite of their dreams!

They now have a freestanding tub, double vanities, and even a makeup table with beautiful wallpaper. We can’t forget the basement! The basement is fully open concept and used as a large rec room for the kids. We built new custom millwork with a combination of open and closed storage for display and storage needs!

The mudroom also underwent a major transformation with new everything. The colour of the custom cabinetry, the patterned floor tile, and custom bench all inspire cleanliness and organization for this family of 5!
